Below you will find a selection of important points & where to find them in Close Reading: An Introduction (our textbook). Take a moment to look through these notes (suggested by your peers and edited by me) to make sure that you feel comfortable with your understanding of these elements/approaches. Take a look at the suggested page numbers if you'd like a bit more info. Also, don't forget, our textbook has a GLOSSARY and an INDEX, so if there's a term coming up that you don't understand, look it up there first.
