Satanís illogical state of mind has lead him to assume that he is free in Hell from Godís influence.  Of course, we know that the opposite is true: Godís omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence together mean that Satan is never out of Godís sight, though His light does not shine in Hell.  Satanís soul is also oppressed by his sins, and thus he will never be truly free from guilt and damnation.  No matter how he tries to rationalize, Satan is far from free.
