Disdained Not to be trusted
The moment that Eve could not be trusted in Adam’s eyes was when the serpent told her that he ate the from the Tree of Knowledge, and that it didn’t kill him, that it gave him the ability to speak, and she believed him, and went with him to where the tree was. Adam is upset because she knew better not to eat the fruit. Eve was given forewarnings, but she chose not to acknowledge them. Initially when Eve was first created, she could be trusted by Adam, he in fact never doubted her faithfulness and loyalty toward him and God until now.
“To disdain is to regard or treat as unworthy or beneath one’s dignity” Webster’s Dictionary.
