Adam is insulting Eve’s feminine nature. All Eve desires, or Adam so things that all she wants is to be desired.  Her longing to be seen and be above Adam put herself in grave danger. She became the target of the Serpent, and by prancing around vainly throughout Eden, Eve unknowingly became the Serpent’s victim.  Her pride and vanity got in the way of her judgment.
