Eve is still not sure about the serpent, so she wants him to say something else to prove that what she sees is true. Eve uses "redouble" in the command form of the verb. This is very interesting because she is trying to command him, just like he is trying to command her to eat the fruit. The miracle here is what Eve has seen. This is an event unexplainable by the laws of nature. It is an act of God. This is an ironic expression because Eve is asking him to keep talking. This relates to other hints that Satan is trying to replace God. This is Satan's whole reason for being here. He wants to avenge God for being what he is.
