Knowledge of good and evil gives two arguments to eve for Satan. If the knowledge is good then how is it just to prohibit it. If the knowledge is evil than why not be known since easier shunned. Satan tries to make Eve believe that it will be better for her to know evil so she will not ever do anything evil.
