Bio
E. Reynaud joined UMass Lowell in 2006. She obtained a Diplome d'Ingenieur in Physics and Materials Engineering from INSA-Lyon, France in 1997, alongside a M.S. in Materials Engineering from Ecole Doctorale Materiaux de Lyon, France in 1997. She received a PhD with highest honors from INSA-Lyon, France in 2000. From 2001 to 2002, she held a position of post-doctorate associate in the lab of Prof. E. Giannelis at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. From 2002 to 2006, she held a position of Maitre de Conference at the Universite de Rennes I, France in the department of Mechanical Engineering.
Research Focus
E. Reynaud research focuses on understanding the realtionships between manufacturing, microstructure and performance in complex systems such as polymer nanocomposites and inorganic coatings.
