Biosketch
Dr. Wong joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell as an assistant professor in 2014. His research focuses on both experimental and computational methods to unravel complex reaction systems in energy and environmental problems. Before joining the faculty at UMass Lowell, Hsi-Wu was a principal engineer at Aerodyne Research, Inc. and served as Principal Investigator for several federally funded, multi-institutional projects. Dr. Wong was also a postdoctoral researcher at MIT, where he worked on developing detailed kinetic models for predicting yield bounds of selective propylene oxidation on bifunctional catalysts.
