We are a Structural Biology laboratory under the direction of Hwai-Chen Guo, investigating the molecular structures and cellular functions of enzymes that process proteins and antigens, or bind to DNA. These enzymes play key roles in our immune system, cellular metabolism, and modern molecular biotechnology. The tools employed in the laboratory include X-ray crystallography, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and bioinformatics.
