Education:

Ph.D. University of Wisconsin, Madison, 1983

Professional Experience:

         More than 30 Years of Industrial and Academic experience in wireless networks, radio propagation, wireless network design. 2 US patents, and 100 publications in the open literature in areas of modern wireless systems.  

Research Interests:

 

I am interested in the Performance of large wireless networks, high speed wireless data, femtocells, network planning, wireless position location and applications, radio navigation systems, radio propagation.  I work with major wireless operators such as Verizon, Sprint etc and with Equipment Vendors such as Ericsson, Commscope, etc.

 

 

PERSONAL BACKGROUND & INTERESTS:

Sail boat racing, Folk Dancing, Downhill skiing, bicycling
