Objectives

Focus on Mathematics (FoM) is a unique partnership funded by the National Science Foundation to improve student achievement by providing mathematics teachers with the content knowledge and skills valuable in their profession.  

The objective of these online courses in FoM is to provide a geographically diverse group of teachers with a range of content based mathematical experiences on an asynchronous schedule that fits their busy schedules.   The primary audience is teachers in the five FoM districts, but teachers in other MSP's will also be sought out as the courses are developed.
All courses are run though  UMass OnLine, one of the largest online public university programs in the country.
