Introduction
Trigonometry is often introduced as a system of ratios of sides of right triangles. Although this aspect of the subject is useful, it is to restrictive for further uses. This document outlines the development of trigonometry as a system of "circular functions."
Note: This is an html version of the original version of this trig review. Some of the Mathematica code that has been changed in the Notebook version has not been changed yet in this version. The mathematical content of both versions are identical.
