EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/GOALS:

Ph.D.  Inorganic Chemistry, Ohio State University, 1978
M.S.   Inorganic Chemistry, Ohio State University, 1974
B.S.    Chemistry, Queens College of the City University of New York, 1972

  My primary interests are in the area of science education.  I have an extensive background in teaching science to students with physical and learning disabilities, and have developed science curricula for students in elementary and middle schools.  I am the author of Chemistry, a Laboratory Manual which is currently used in the College Chemistry I and II Laboratory courses at UMass Lowell.  Current activities include serving as a scholar for The National Faculty, an organization which provides educators in higher education to assist to local school districts in curriculum and faculty development.



 

PERSONAL BACKGROUND & INTERESTS:

I enjoy sailing, making and listening to music, travel and learning foreign languages.
