Gu Research Group at UML

· Postdoctoral fellows: Currently there is no opening for postdoc. Please check again later for new openings.

· Graduate students: Research assistant (RA) openings currently are very limited in the group, and highly motivated students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree are encouraged to discuss with the PI. A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering/Bioengineering, or related field is required, and preference will be given to the candidates who have a master’s degree or will obtain their degree soon. Previous experience on nanomaterials, polymers, electrochemistry, sensors or biosensors, will be a plus, but is not required.

· Undergraduate students: undergraduate students are encouraged to join the group to either conduct independent research project or take supervised course for credits.

· Visiting scientists: Interested candidates are encouraged to contact the PI for further information. These who don’t need financial support or can bring their own supports are welcome to join the group. Partial financial support might be possible.
