Newswriting 42.301 (Spring 2005)
Professor Driscoll

Note from the Professor,
Once again, we are pleased to present our students' innovative news stories on issues of sustainability written and produced as part of their class work for the News Writing course. Student news writing projects for print, audio, and video are a result of the interdisciplinary collaborative efforts of the English Department, The Toxic Use Reduction Institute, and Media Services.

This class website, with the assistance of Dr. Mitchell Shuldman, head of the Division of Media Services, showcases students' reporting, writing, and production skills throughout the semester.

In addition to the website, profile articles were submitted to the campus newspaper, The Connector. Audio projects are available for use on the campus radio station, WUML, and video productions may be used by both TURI and local community news organizations.
