Holy- to be set apart for a special purpose. When Holiness is applied to God, it means that her is set apart from the rest of his creations.
Divine- of, related to, or proceeding directly from God. Being a deity, supremely good.
Good- Of favorable character or tendency.
Amiable- pleasing, admirable, being friendly, sociable or congenial.
Sweet- Pleasing to the mind or feelings marked by good humor or kindness.
These are the definitions of these five words according to the OED. Milton probabally had a good idea what they meant, and inserted them in his poem to describe Eve. He wants to show the reader that Adam does not have anything bad to say about Eve. He thinks that she is wonderful and lists her traits. Milton emphases this line with meter by using an overwhelming number of stresses. He wants his audience to pay attention to it. He wants everyone to understand that Adam is not angry at Eve for sinning, but the opposite, he compliments her.
