This is a 50 point grading rubric. Add 0 points for each item marked Not at all, 1 for Insufficient, 2 for Some, and 3 for Consistent. For items in shaded boxes with asterisks, Consistent is worth 4 points, Some worth 3, Insufficient worth 2 and Not at all still worth 0.
Multiply by 2 to convert to 100 point scale for estimated grade equivalent (90-100 = A, 80-89 = B, etc). Papers may be revised and resubmitted once; the final grade will be a weighted average of the two.
Note: "Your own
words" refers to your own words used with appropriate citations and
references. Using others' words without proper citations is plagiarism and
trumps all other points for this assignment. Plagiarism will result in a
grade of 0 for this assignment.
