Annotated Outline: DUE Nov. 5
The word “annotation” refers to adding information, usually comments, explanations, or references. This assignment is designed to help you incorporate evidence (primary and secondary) into your paper's argument. This assignment is essentially one page and breaks down the ideas of the paper and where you want the paper to go. Not all annotated outlines are alike The preparation of the annotated outline is governed by the nature of a larger course project and the role that the annotated outline plays in the context of the course as a whole. In some cases, the annotations consist of :
- comments or explanations
- citations of sources appropriate to each outline entry
- information about each of the cited sources
- topic sentences

Rough Draft: DUE Nov. 14
Here I would like you to have finished at least five pages of your paper for me to review. I ask this of students so that they do not wait until the night before to write and edit their papers. REMEMBER all writing is re-writing and History is a discipline that can teach you this skill.
