The First Year Seminar is designed to help get our students’ college career off to a good start. In this class we will discuss a number of issues, from tips to help you succeed in academia, to issues that might be new to incoming college students. My class in particular is geared towards History majors and as such, seeks to add to your knowledge of History as a discipline and possibly a career. We will meet for one hour every Friday and attendance is required. |
Class Structure:
Most classes will be divided in to lecture and presentation. The mandate of the class requires that weekly reaction-paper-type assignments be collected every week and that attendance in required.
