  Determine Your Computer's IP Address

Do you want to know the IP Address that is currently assigned to your computer? Perform the following steps:

Windows Vista:

1. Click the Start button on the Windows taskbar.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Network and Internet.

4. Click View Network Status and Tasks.

5. Click View Status.

6. Click Details.

Windows 2000/XP:

1. Click the Start button on the Windows taskbar.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Network Connections.

4. Double-click the Local Area Connection icon.
5. Click the Support tab and view the IP address for your computer.
