Biographical Info

Dr. Tevet graduated from Hofstra University with a PhD in Applied Organizational Psychology (2008). Her work experience includes different consulting positions in various Human Resources and Consulting companies, including Pilat International – Organizational Consulting Department, Platform Learning – Recruiting Department, and more recently E.Rogers Associates, Inc, a management consulting company. Among the services Dr. Tevet was focusing on at E.Rogers were: team development and effectiveness, performance management, and executive assessments.

Her teaching experience includes introductory courses in psychology, research methods, and social psychology, both in-call and on-line. In the last few years she had the opportunity to work on multiple research papers focusing on biases and discrimination in selection processes in the workplace based on attractiveness or ethnicity. One paper, entitled "Subtle bias against Muslim job applicants in personnel decisions" was published at Journal of Applied Social Psychology. A few other papers are at the initial submission state to various journals, and were accepted to different conferences like SIOP, and EPA.
