Amey Churi Amey Churi
Amey V. Churi is a graduate student in Electrical and
Computer Engineering at UMass Lowell. He is majoring in Solid State Electronics.
He has been in the AETC team as a graduate research assistant since fall of
2006. His master’s research focused mainly on high speed semiconductor devices.

Research
- Improving the HEMT device performance by enhancing the quantization in
the channel of the transistor.
- Working on quantum well base heterojunction bipolar transistors
- Modeling and designing the conventional FETs and quantum well based
transistors using ATLAS™ software from Silvaco™.
