COMAP Mathematical Contest in Modeling

Each year the Consortium for Mathematics and its Applications holds a Mathematical Contest in Modeling. The competition lasts for four days during early February, 8 pm Thursday – 8 pm Monday. During that time teams of three students work on a given problem and complete a report for evaluation by COMAP. Papers are graded as Successful, Honorable Mention, Meritorious and Outstanding — Outstanding solutions are published in the COMAP Undergraduate Journal.

Teams usually form late in the fall semester. If you are interested in participating in this contest, please let me know.
