Courses Teaching Fall 2007:

Lisa Panagopoulos is a Computer Science/Information Technology instructor at UMass Lowell. Prior to teaching, she worked as a Software Engineer for 10 years at Lockheed Sanders in Nashua, New Hampshire (now BAE Systems), and The Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC) in Reading, Massachusetts. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from UMass Lowell in 1984 (known then as the University of Lowell), and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, with a concentration in Computer Hardware, from the University of Lowell in 1988.

Ms. Panagopoulos currently teaches Computer Science courses as well as Information Technology courses at UMass Lowell, both on campus and online. She has developed the online Introduction to Information Systems course (90.160), as well as the Introduction to Programming with C Part 1 (90.211) and Part 2 (90.212) online courses. In addition, she has taught computer programming courses (90.211, 90.212, and 90.364) as well as Intro to UNIX (90.311) on campus.
