Sarah McMenamin (Principal Investigator)
I did my undergraduate at Mount Holyoke College, where I fell in love with Biology and research. In graduate school at Stanford, I studied population variation in Ambystoma salamanders. Transitioning to a model organism, I focused on the developmental and molecular effects of thyroid hormone and other endocrine factors on zebrafish development during my postdoc at the University of Washington. I am now a new assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

I did my Undergraduate course in Biotechnology from D.Y Patil University, India where I was introduced to the concept of Biotechnology and its various applications. During the course of my Undergraduate degree I also did a dissertation project entitled “Diagnosis of Rodent Pathogens using ELISA and PCR.”
