Final Research Proposal Checklist
Sample of a student research proposal. This is a great example of a research proposal, even if it is not be perfect. For example:
If there were multiple pictures used, there could be a better sampling and a within subject design due to the likely variability of judgments across subjects. Then the pictures and the labels (Larry, Laurie, none) could be counterbalanced across participants.
The proposal is written using the 5th edition of the APA Publication Manual (you will use the 6th).
There is also a convenience sample
used; I suspect this is a proposal for a study that actually had to be
carried out. Hence the design would be simpler. Remember you are not
going to do yours. So you can think bigger. Still, a very nice example
