Lecture # 2 (slides)

MAKE-UP MATERIAL --- Please review the lecture material linked above and read the associated textbook sections.  Please feel free to email me any questions that you may have with the material.  In addition, next week, we can go over any areas that you wish to discuss prior to starting the lab.

As far as the lab is concerned … if you wish, I will be at the school Thursday night in BL-424 from 6-9 PM.  My data conversion class will be performing a lab.  I will have all the lab #1 material if you want to stop by and pick it up.  You can also stay in the room if you want and work on the lab, there is plenty of extra lab stations in BL-424.  You will need to bring your laptop with the software installed as the computers in the room do not have the required software.  If you cannot make it Thursday night to obtain the parts, I will have them next Tuesday night.

Write your programs in the manner that you feel most comfortable with.  You can use the software provided with the book provided you understand the commands the author uses.
