The textbook for the course is Giancoli's Physics for Scientists and Engineers, 4th Ed. (ISBN: 0-13-227358-6).  There are various Physics I packages available at the UML Bookstore.  Click the link above to see the packages offered by the bookstore.  THIS SEMESTER (F10), ALL HOMEWORK WILL BE DONE ONLINE, which means you wil also have to purchase access to masteringphysics.com.  However, this also means that you are NOT required to have the latest edition of the text.  In fact, you could choose to use a different text entirely, since all HW problems will come from masteringphysics.  Please note that if you choose to buy the text online or used, you will need to purchase the PRS clickers for this course at the bookstore.  The clickers are included in the textbook package at the bookstore.
