Midterm exams are given in class. (55 minutes)  You are  NOT allowed to use a calculator. If you miss this exam w/o an official excuse from the dean of students you will not be able to make it up. You must turn off your cell phone upon entering the exam. If you are seen utilizing a cell phone, you will receive a 0 for the exam. 

Below are sample exams given in previous semesters in a particular section. Utilize them very carefully. Your actual exam may be very different. Think of the samples as simply extra problems to be worked on, not snapshots of what your particular exam will look like.  Just because a particular topic doesn't appear in the sample exams doesn't mean you won't see it. All material on the syllabus is fair game for testing.  The final exam will be uniform across all sections. The extra exercises below give many more problems and their solutions for various particular topics. Utilize them after you complete your homework.
