George is working with VTMS, a fiber-sccale simulation software managed by AFRL. He is primarily looking at the packing patterns of fiber-reinforced composites and how it effects part properties. Additionally, he is running impact simulations on helmets to improve the protection and lessen the weight of helmets for the men and women who protect our nation.

Ihsan is working on all things textile. He is manufacturing and testing a variety of knits to quantify the effect of textile structure on mechanical properties. He is additionally developing actuated textiles made with actuator yarns.
