RE: EXAM II There was a question by e-mail for clarification of "cognitive capacity" and this is how I replied: Cognitive capacity here means some kind of thinking skill. It would have been better probably to ask: what kinds of thinking or mental exercises (too goofy an expression but the idea when applied to real living not just exercises for the sake of doing exercises) would you encourage at younger ages to best fight intellectual declines at later ages. Look for an interface of the Rutter and Elder chapters.
