Format for the final exam
- you will need to answer all of the questions
- Full sentences would be preferable for all answers, but you may also answer in phrases or bullet points. Include enough detail in your answer to demonstrate you understand the concept.
- There are two parts to the
exam:
- Part I covers the overview of the second half of the course that is described in the first two pages of this unit. It includes 3 questions designed to measure whether you understand the "learning organization" concept and why it is helpful to companies facing rapid change.
- Part II covers the rest of unit 2, with a question about most of the topics we covered in the second half of the course (recruitment and selection, training, motivation, performance appraisal, discipline and discharge, budgeting). The questions will require you to write brief descriptions of the key concepts in each of these topics involved in the "learning organization" strategy, as well as one that looks at the benefits of each new approach.
